The new generation single nozzles from Thermoplay have been designed to:
- reduce the number of control zones
- reduce costs
- simplify electrical connections
- reduce power consumption
The head heater on previous versions has been replaced by a single heater. This heater is recessed into the nozzle head and heats the nozzle head and body. The new heater is able to keep the temperature constant along the nozzle feed channel. Therefore a single temperature control zone only is required for each single nozzle.
The full range of F nozzle tips are available for this single nozzle. These include direct injection tips, extended tips and tips for injection onto a runner. The wide range of nozzle tips are suitable for moulding most plastic materials. Diameters 16, 24, 32 and 46 are available. Twenty to thirty different nozzle lengths are available for each nozzle diameter.
